Located in Durban Harbour at Berth 1, the structure is a multi-level staff facility containing Operational and Security Offices, a Clinic, Fully Functioning Canteen with Industrial Style Kitchen and Dining Area, Multi-Purpose Auditorium, Male and Female Locker Rooms, Mess-Room and Common Kitchen, Gym and Aerobics Room, a Library Facility with Internet Access and a Boardroom.
The building was designed by Sivest SA (Pty) ltd. and mimics storage containers with specialised corrugated cladding and sharp, off shutter concrete.
It boasts the latest biometric access control CCTV security system, Grey Water Recycling Plant, Integrated Heat Pump and HVAC system providing cold air and hot water, and sensor operated lights. All to facilitate power saving.
