WINNER: SHOSPEC (PTY) LTD - SUMITOMO RUBBER SA (PTY) LTD-PROJECT SUNRISE
This project was characterised by a modern design light steel frame 1st floor addition construction on top of existing building roof slab including a 600m² office block extension and LSF floor system on top of existing slab. Shospec was given the task of constructing an additional 600m² office block extensions at Sumitomo Rubber.

Macsharp Timbers CC began by creating a temporary reception counter, then proceeded to complete work done to the Casualty Ward. The next phase completed was the NNICU, New Reception & switchboard and admissions. Finally, Paediatrics ward and Phase 1 and 2 of ICU & Highcare closed off the project.
