In December 2018, load shedding was once again a reality. In the Midlands, the Association attended a forum launched by Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Commerce for interaction with the municipality on electrical faults stemming from the outages. The meeting proved informative and the Municipality expressed commitment to achieving prompt reaction times to reported faults.

In the South Coast, the Association held meetings with building inspectors at the Department of Labour. The objective of these meetings was to address matters relating to non-compliance notices issued by the department. All concerns have been addressed and the Department was keen to engage with our membership at various forums such as member meetings to help members meet all requirements.

Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal is proud to announce an alliance with 1st Verification Networx, one of South Africa’s leading B-BBEE verification agencies. Members will now receive a 10% discount on their quoted fee when signing up for a B-BBEE verification.
