The Electricity Control Centre was constructed in the early 1970s for use as office space and 3 control rooms to monitor the electrical faults in and around the Durban area. The scope of work for the additions and alterations to the Electricity Control Centre entails the proposed addition of 4850m2 of accommodation to the existing control centre, including a net of 3300m2 of usable office space for the network branch spread of two floors (levels 5 and 6).

Re-construction of the workshop due to a fire and new 1st floor addition on top of existing building in Light Steel Frame. Duration of this project was from October 2016 to December 2016 where Shospec was the main contractor. The contract period estimated 3 months and was finished within time and program. The architect and engineer was impressed with system and product and the client was very pleased with the service and result. Stefanutti stocks building KZN constructed an Industrial Distribution Centre for use by Bata Products in Hammersdale. The project was undertaken for a repeat client, Collins Property Development, and entailed demolition, new construction and refurbishment elements.
